I had hoped to finish the lyrebird this week and ...

Just managed to get all the pieces together before I head off to work this evening.

Such a strange looking bird but you have captured it beautifully. I love the leaves on the lower branch.

ReplyDeleteYes we do (not quite this colourful) and they are amazingly clever at imitating sounds. There was one in the Adelaide Zoo named Chook. They were renovating the enclosure and her learned all the sounds of the power tools... :-)
