Looking ahead

I hope you have all enjoyed a safe and happy holiday season 

and had a nice start to the new year.

We have had 

a fabulous time with family and friends, 

a sad time 

(saying goodbye to our dear old dog, Tess)

and a relaxing time

(between jobs - the vineyard is busy this time of year)

I am still in some strange kind of holiday mode.

Looking ahead, 

I have much to look forward to.

Lots of stitching and other exciting projects in the pipeline.

But I am determined to take it all in and enjoy every moment.

It is so very easy to get carried away with what might be

or dwell on what was.

This year will be about enjoying the moment, 

the little things

and make it count.
