Where have I been..?

Well nowhere really but right here. Sometimes life just gets so, so busy.
The good news is, I now have a new assistant:

I would like you to meet Nala, our 7 week old Kelpie pup.

'Assistant' is perhaps a slight exaggeration - 'major distraction' and 'master of cheeky cuteness' is probably more appropriate terms for her job description.

So what have I been so busy doing?

TEACHING

The first embroidery course at TAFE SA has just finished - it was fabulously fantastic. I loved it and from the feedback I received, I am pretty sure the students did too.
The super great news is that because the course booked out, it is running again! Yep, a repeat of 'Foundation Stitches' will repeat! This time on Tuesday evenings and a little later (6 - 8.30pm).

I am now preparing a couple of new 5 week courses to start soon. More on that later in the week - I promise!

PREPARING NEW THINGS...
I decided to take a small stand at the 'Sewing, Stitching and hand craft fair' in Adelaide 17-19 of July. I am sharing the stand with my friend Michele Hill and I am sure is will be fun.

It seemed a really good idea when I booked it but I confess I feel a little overwhelmed by the whole thing. Right now there are half finished kits and piles of NEW THINGS everywhere... (which 'my assistant' finds quite amusing when she is not napping).

More on the NEW THINGS very soon - I promise!

STITCHING - just a little bit...

...brushing up on my needle painting, and...

...a new, little, 'quick' goldwork project for kits and classes.
To come very, very soon - I promise!

Phew, I am puffed
